A Connecticut native, I was born to Puerto Rican parents who migrated to New York City in the 70s. As a child I was fascinated with my mothers clothing and jewels. I adored the idea of getting dressed up in my mothers lavish pieces. Much of my style influence i've picked up from my mother. Who would eventually be the woman to teach me the value of "recycled" clothing and the bargain in thrift shopping. My first significant piece was found on a thrift shopping trip with my mother. A gold chain, Chanel, silk jacket that still hangs in my closet today. Originally, Iād intended to go to university for veterinary studies, but my heart was leaning toward fashion. Since then I have made it my business to network with different artist, photographers, stylist and businesses in order to bring ideas and visions to fruition.
